Stab at Ryan Tedder? I like the verses.

I’ve taken my best shot at translating the auto-tuned lyrics below (thanks to Blink Blind).
I can’t take the pressure of new / Give me old, flip it off let’s see if it sticks to the wall again… / Give it to them, they will never notice, so what’s stopping us? / Does it sound familiar, does it linger in your ear like something you remember from just last year…?
I’ll be playin’ God and you can be my b***h / The only compromise is you get to pick which of these formula’s is your perfect fit / Wash, rinse, repeat, why are you fighting it? / No, no no, don’t get crazy keep between those lines / Here’s what we have in mind, we’ve worked with everyone trust us and see / Wash, rinse and repeat.
Hi my name is blah and I’m here to run everything / Spreading like a cancer I will die and take you all with me / Let you have a little bit while secretly I’m waiting to rip that rug from underneath / Can’t believe you fell for it / Music from the past, from the present, well just last week / We will change a note and get away with it (wait and see) / Just when you think we’ve changed like an addict we sweep back in with a dose of reality.
Kelly then imitates her target by repeating several lines in a hilarious robotic voice:
“Wash, rinse and repeat, wash, rinse and repeat… The definition of insanity is to repeat the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. I’m insane. Just wash, rinse and repeat. You love this song. This song is the most amazing song you’ve ever heard. This song is completely different from that other song that sounds exactly the same.”
You’ve gotta love Kelly. While other pop stars are happy to be micro-managed and controlled, or are just too scared to speak out, Kelly just comes right out and tells it how it is.
It all started during the Breakaway era when Kelly admitted that she was contractually forced to film the Idol cash in flick From Just to Kelly after Amerian Idol wrapped up. She then gained a reputation for being outspoken during the public battle against her record label surrounding her My December album, and then things snowballed after she made several comments about the music industry and her label during interviews and live concerts.
And of course there was the drama between herself and Ryan Tedder, which she clearly seems to be addressing in this new track.
I predict a lot more drama in Kelly’s future until she’s fulfilled her record contract and gets the creative freedom that she so obviously craves. What do you think?

This is a jam, even in demo form. I really don't want an electro-pop album from her though.

This is hot. Too much auto-tune on the verses, but then I don't like how raw her voice sounds on the chorus. But I wouldn't mind this direction from her, although truth be told I like her best when she's doing pop-rock, or even straight up pop.
ROFL...I just got to the bridge. Amazing.

I think the autotune is for a reason.

I didn't realize just how much of a slam this was against Tedder. She's not even trying to be subtle.

It could easily be about Max Martin/Dr. Luke, too. She was pissed when this leaked, probably because she didn't want it to. Her vocals are AWFUL.

I love this side of Kelly, especially the sarcastic use of Autotune.
From what I've heard, all of the recent leaks came about because her computer was hacked, and the hacker got more than what's been leaked out so far (including demos of songs she wrote for other artists).

i love how she dares to attack her producers...write and produce your own music b*tch... she's so annoying. She does though. She has writing credit on all of My December, and featured quite a bit on AIEW. Not to mention, I'm willing to bet, all of the recent leaks. It's a slam at Ryan Tedder and her record label. Given the choice, I'm sure she would much rather not record any of their songs. I'm not sure I follow your point.

^ i know but... 1.Her songwriting is pretty LAME. 2.She doesn't have any imput in the music writing and that's what she's basically complaning about so she has no right to do so(the complaining i mean). 3.She doesn't even produce the tracks..i mean her "artistic" imput is really basic.
And she really should leave the label if she wants to complain so much..otherwise..SHUT THE HELL UP

You're saying an artist who writes song should just accept the music given to them without question? She's one of the few artist's who actually loves to write, produce and not just be a puppet. You pretty much saying she should be one of those manufactured robots who does and sings anything the label tells her to. Sorry, I like my artist's with brains. And she has started to produce tracks, she produced one track on "All I Ever Wanted". It's a tricky thing to learn, and she's doing it. You can't expect her to produce every track. She's still writing as much as possible. As for her leaving, she can't. I believe she has 2 more albums with RCA so she can't leave until they're done. Keep on b*tching Kelly!

^ no..what i'm saying is that she should complain about when she's in the studio before recording the track instead of doing it afterwards. And when i say she has no right to complain is because she should be more involved in the writing process(music-wise) and then she can complain about it....but if she gets everything done by others(and she only complained after she found out beyonce got a similar song which means she wasn't forced to let other people write the music for her) then she's just being a b*tch.

I see your point but I can't hold it against her or anyone in a similar predicament. You trust the person you're paying for will give you quality material, and not pander it off at another time to other artist's. But back to the song, I love it. She's such a b*tch.
