Maybe I've just fallen out of love with their sound, because this isn't doing anything for me either. On the bright side, it doesn't sound like a rehash of their previous hits (like "Misery"), but there's nothing that grabs me about it.

there's nothing that grabs me about it. Bingo. I can pretty much say that about every song from their last album (except for "Makes Me Wonder" and "The Way I Was") onward. This will do no better than "Misery".
