Bruno Mars and The Smeezingtons wrote this. They are the next big thing in music.

Cee-Lo Calls Viral Explosion Of 'F--- You' Single 'Pretty Magical' 'It's a pleasant surprise, I must say," singer says of F-bomb-dropping song.
By Gil Kaufman
There's no denying the ear-candy magic in Cee-Lo Green's F-bomb-dropping kiss-off soul nugget "F--- You." But even the Goodie Mob/ Gnarls Barkley singer himself has been a bit surprised at the viral explosion set off by the lyrics-only video for the first single from his upcoming The Lady Killer album, which has rung up more than 2 million views since it was released last Thursday.
"It's a pleasant surprise, I must say," the singer told Entertainment Weekly's Music Mix blog.
"I think it's totally surpassed just about everyone's expectations. We had a clue — I mean, it's a very noticeable song — but this has been extraordinary." Though he's understating the shockingly catchy nature of the profanity-laced Motown-like ditty, the success is probably a bigger shock to the Smeezingtons production team behind it, which consists of the writing and production trio of Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine.
The song came together almost two years into the recording of the singer's third solo effort and, according to EW, when the producers played him a rough sketch of it in the studio, they weren't even sure it was worth finishing up. "When Bruno first sung 'F--- You' to me, they were still a bit indecisive on whether or not it could work at all," Cee-Lo said. "I was like, 'I like it. Let's record it.' "
Cee-Lo said he got heavily involved in finishing up the tune, pitching in many of the lyrics on the verses, which were somewhat based on his own experiences of being jilted by a lover who was looking for a man with deeper pockets. "I mean, it's based on something true. ... As far as me personally, it's not a current event. It's a figurative account. It's not completely fictitious, though," he said cryptically.
Clearly taken by surprise by the instant success of the low-rent video — which consists of the song's lyrics printed out over solid color backgrounds — Cee-Lo said his team is working on cooking up a more elaborate clip as well as a profanity-stripped radio edit called "Forget You."

Cee Lo Green's Viral Sensation Segues To Radio August 26, 2010 - RB Hip-Hop
By Gary Trust
With its video having generated 2.8 million YouTube views since it was uploaded to the website Aug. 20, soul/pop singer/songwriter/producer Cee Lo Green's "F**k You" is making its way to radio with an audience uncommonly large for a brand new song.
Still, Elektra/Roadrunner Records could face challenges for airplay due to the song's risqué title and lyrical content, even as it has serviced a profanity-free edit of the song to stations.
"I see you driving 'round town with the girl I love and I'm like, 'f**k you'," Green sings exuberantly in the uptempo song's chorus.
The Gnarls Barkley and Goodie Mob member released his new single to YouTube as a preview of his forthcoming third solo album, "The Lady Killer," due Dec. 7.
Co-written and produced by the Smeezingtons, featuring Green's Elektra labelmate Bruno Mars, "F**k You" is on sale at ceelogreen.com (individually or in a bundle, the latter of which includes an exclusive "F**k You" t-shirt). The song will be available at all digital retailers Aug. 27, a CD single will follow exclusively at independent record stores Sept. 21 and the clean edit will arrive at retail later this fall. Videos for both versions of the song are in production, with the first clip due to premiere next week.
Roadrunner plans to let radio discover Green's song at its own pace, rather than aggressively work it, feeling that the song's viral interest makes for the best promotional tool.
Praising the song's YouTube exposure as "incredibly explosive," Roadrunner VP/pop promotion Mike Easterlin says, "The great thing about the song is that it can play on all kinds of formats. We already have top 40, adult top 40, alternative, rhythmic and R&B/hip-hop playing it."
Since Nielsen BDS first detected airplay on the song Aug. 23, it has received 20 plays through Aug. 25 on 10 stations (among the 1,239 stations monitored for the Billboard Hot 100). Five of those 10 outlets are mainstream top 40 reporters.

This is a little overrated, but anything is better than most of the sh*t that's on the radio now, and I like his voice. I hope it's a hit.

Cee Lo Green gets in touch with his inner child in the video for his unexpected viral hit “F**k You,” the lead single off his upcoming solo album The Lady Killer. Throwing it back to the ’50s, the ATLien documents his misfires with women from his childhood throughout his adolescence, enlisting young actors to reenact his unfortunate luck with the ladies. Be on the lookout for The Lady Killer dropping December 7, and watch the clip for this feel-good jam below.

At first I thought it was getting gains just because stations were playing it on countdowns, but actually many stations are genuinely re-adding this.

I guess it's the grammy nomination. No other reason why this would suddenly be re-added.

I was hoping this would go away because I didn't like it last year so I really don't like it now.
