This is tumbling down the iTunes chart. I'm expecting a run similar to "Not Myself Tonight" here...

This is tumbling down the iTunes chart. I'm expecting a run similar to "Not Myself Tonight" here... I don't think so. Airplay is rapidly gaining, and the music video is coming out soon. I expect she'll go back up on iTunes soon.

Avril Lavigne has grown bored of the mundane routine of her relationship, so she’s looking to let her down and slut about the town for a while in the music video for her new single “What the Hell”.
Straight Boys: Avril gets down to her bra & panties in this video… And she looks hottttt!
Besides seeing sexy Avril, the “What the Hell” also contains lots of product placement, but most of the sh*t is actually Avril’s own stuff (Forbidden Rose, Black Star, Abbey Dawn), so it fits in quite nicely and isn’t nearly as ridiculous as the crap Ke$ha and Lady GaGa plug in their videos.

Avril's voice is kind of awful. Heard this for the first time and I cant help but feel like Kelly Clarkson should have done this and it would have been GREAT. Avril still sounds 12years old.

This is now outselling "Hold It Against Me" on iTunes.

This is now outselling "Hold It Against Me" on iTunes. Yeah, that's shocking. I've yet to hear this ONCE on the radio.

I think it's a better song while Britney's just sounds like hype.

BRICK WALL.
Can't say I'm surprised. The songs been selling decently on iTunes but nobody really cares about her anymore.

It's doing really well on iTunes and rebound all the way up to #11 on the Hot 100 this week.
But radio seems really resistant.

I love this. It sucks about this falling apart at radio, the consistent iTunes performance obviously shows people like the song.

It was losing spins a few days ago, but gained some today. Hopefully it will rise again.

It's almost dead. I hate this now. Sounds like it was written by a five-year-old.

Gained +48 spins today. Not dead yet! If you ask me, this song trumps all the new releases by Ke$ha, Pink, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Katy Perry. It's also selling too consistently well to flop. Hope it goes Top 10!

Katy Perry and P!nk might be the only debatable ones. But I would definitely choose this over the lazily written "Raise Your Glass."

I did like this a lot at first, but it has a VERY high burnout rate.

It's sad about this song's run.
I just don't think radio knows what to do with songs that don't follow the typical "dance pop" formula. Makes you wonder how other similar artists like Kelly Clarkson will do in the future.
