This is about as safe as song as you can get right now. It's dance pop - check! It's got PitBull, check! I think she's got a hit on her hands here.

This is super HOT! It's her best song since "Waiting For Tonight" for sure. The only thing that could keep this from being a hit is the fact that she's over 40. We know how radio reacts to age. We'll have to wait and see.

We'll have to wait and see. But, IMO, she doesn't feel over 40. If I didn't know better, I'd probably give her early thirties. Her look and her personality defy her real age. And this song is bloody hot.

Jennifer Lopez's 'On The Floor' Video To Be An 'Underground Party' 'We've seen so many club videos, but we want to see a club video with a vibe unique to Jennifer Lopez,' choreographer tells MTV News.
By Jocelyn Vena (@jocelyn1212) , with reporting by Matt Elias
This weekend, Jennifer Lopez is set to film the music video for her club banger "On the Floor." MTV News was at auditions in L.A., where some of the area's most skilled and unique dancers showed up to see if they might make the final cut for the video.
On Thursday, the video's director, Taj, revealed what he was looking to capture in the clip: "Originality, being you. This song is about being who you want. It's about letting loose. There's no explanation. This is this underground video, this underground party."
Choreographer Frank Gatson Jr. gushed over the chance to work with the new "American Idol" judge on the clip. "I love working with J.Lo," he said. "She's a sweetheart. She understands the business."
Gatson also talked a bit about what the crew has in mind for the video's funky vibe. "I kind of get the feeling that she wants us to be in the club after 2 a.m. in L.A.," he revealed. "That's so amazing. [It's like] everybody had some watermelon and the watermelon made them high, it gave them a little buzz — but a good buzz, a real magical buzz, a dance buzz, a buzz that makes you feel like fried chicken, so she just wants everybody to have a good old time.
"The club must have this vibe, where you get on the floor and everybody's bringing it," he added. "We've seen so many club videos, but we want to see a club video with a vibe unique to Jennifer Lopez."
"On the Floor" producer RedOne recently talked to MTV News about the track. "Of course, she's global. She's a global artist," he said. "She's a global actress, and the music has to be global, and the rhythmic side of it or the Latin and this thing of a dancer [all has to be there].
"She said, 'I want to dance. I want to make people dance and be able to sing with me.' That's what we did, and it feels good. I think we're going to have a big one."

Jennifer Lopez's 'On The Floor' Video: Behind The Scenes 'I got to be wild and crazy, and at the same time I got to be sexy and sweet too,' new 'American Idol' judge tells MTV News.
By Jocelyn Vena (@jocelyn1212) , with reporting by Matt Elias
Jennifer Lopez just wants everyone to dance. Over the weekend, J.Lo shot the music video for her new club jam, "On the Floor," and in it, Lopez and her crew are living by this motto: Just dance.
"I play one character where she kind of runs this party, acts like she's kind of over it, but at the same time loves it and loves this kind of underground kind of party dance culture," the new "American Idol" judge told MTV News on the set of her video. "So I got to be wild and crazy, and at the same time I got to be sexy and sweet too."
The video and song feature Pitbull, and the rapper revealed he has a certain system when it comes to appearing on this type of dance track. "When you got these big, big house records or club records that are very global, I try to come in on what I was raised on, what I'm a fan of, which is just spitting hard," he explained.
Lady Gaga producer RedOne said of crafting the track, "It's a global sound. It's very rhythmic. It has this rhythm. You know J.Lo: She's this global star with Latin flavor."
Last week, RedOne gushed about working with the pop star. "She's a dancer. She can sing. I was really amazed, and I had so much fun working with her," he said. "Her energy and everything about her is a star, and it was natural for me to do what we did."
Lopez said the video mirrors the song's theme. "Every single lyric is about letting go: Get on the floor and be an animal," she said.
And she explained that while the album is diverse, it's all really just about one thing.
"There's so many songs on the album I'm excited for people to hear for so many reasons," she said. "Some of them because they're just straight-up club bangers, some because of what they have to say, and some because of how they make you groove. They're all very thematic in the sense that they're all about love."

Jennifer Lopez heats up the dance floor in the video for her RedOne-produced banger “On the Floor” featuring Pitbull off her Island Def Jam debut Love? The Puerto Rican bombshell shot the high-octane clip over the weekend with director Taj (Rihanna, Usher) and choreographer Frank Gatson Jr. (Beyoncé), performing in a balcony as clubgoers worked up a sweat below her.
“I play one character where she kind of runs this party, acts like she’s kind of over it, but at the same time is really loving it and loves this underground kind of party dance culture,” the “American Idol” judge told MTV News. “So I got to be wild and crazy, and at the same time I got to be kinda sexy and sweet too.”

Against my better judgment, I really like this! It's definitely her best release since "Get Right," and probably since "If You Had My Love." Yeah, it's another freaking dance song, but this one feels really Miami which makes it more distinct and enjoyable. I feel like I should be rolling down Collins Avenue listening to Y100 with palm trees swaying. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm pulling for this one.
