I'm pretty sure this will be a single. The lyrics sound like a hit song, and the production could be similar to "Billionaire." Live performance:

Single choice fail. It's too risky. They should release it, but as a fourth single.

This is more a spring single. I like it a lot, but "Marry You" would've been a better bet.

when i listened to the album this was the only song left that sounded like a hit. This was a obvious choice.

This sounds plain but also very novelty.

The “Grenade” singer, who won the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “Just the Way You Are,” has also revealed that his next single will be “The Lazy Song,” for which a video will be filmed in Los Angeles later this week. Fans can also catch Bruno performing during the 2011 NBA All-Star Pregame Show, airing live on TNT this Sunday at 7 p.m. EST.

Live on the NBA All-Star pregame show:
Nice performance. I like the new arrangement.
As far as radio goes, this is moving VERY slowly compared to his first two singles. I'm sure he was pushing for this to be released because people were pegging him as this whiny, lovey-dovey singer, and that really doesn't fit his personality at all. It was very ballsy of his label to scrap "Marry You" when it had momentum for months. It's still early, but I don't see this going to #1.

Definitely prefer the first two singles to this. The lyrics sound like something out of a third grader's diary, and I really don't need the visuals of Bruno "walking around in his birthday suit" and "putting his hand down [his] pants." Ick. Next.

Video premieres next Thursday
Bruno Mars is gearing up for a lazy week. The R&B crooner will premiere the video for “The Lazy Song,” the third single off his breakthrough Doo-Wops & Hooligans on Thursday, April 14, at 12 p.m. EST on MTV.com and VH1.com, while its television debut comes later that evening at 7:56 p.m. on MTV.
The 25-year-old Grammy winner, who is following his smash singles “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade,” will also hit the road with Janelle Monáe on their North American “Hooligans in Wondaland” tour. The trek, which kicks off on May 4 at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom, will make stops in Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, and more through June.

Still find this beyond boring.
This would not be a hit in the least if some anonymous put it out.

I don't know about that. "Just the Way You Are" instantly went to the top 20 on iTunes when it was released, and at the time, nobody knew anything about him. It always sounded like a smash to me.
As far is this song, it's hard to say. The lyrics are novelty, and that seems to work for Pop radio. It's also reminiscent of "Billionaire," which did well right out the gate too.

He had so much hype around him before the release of "Just the Way You Are." It's not like he was a nobody.

This is so f**king bad.
I heard this on the radio, and literally thought this was the worst song I'd ever heard.
