Video: David Guetta Debuts New Song Featuring Nicki Minaj
David Guetta has crafted dance hits with Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, and Kid Cudi, and now he’s called upon Nicki Minaj for his latest collaboration. The French DJ/producer debuted a new party record, reportedly titled “Where Dem Girls At,” featuring the Harajuku Barbie and Flo Rida at Carnaval of Salvador de Bahia in Brazil last week. A low quality recording has surfaced on YouTube where Nicki and Flo Rida trade verses over the pounding beat.
“So many boys in here, where do I begin?/ I see this one, I’m about to go in,” raps the Young Money diva. “Coming through the club, all the girls in the back of me/ This ain’t football, why the f**k they tryna tackle me?”
It is currently unknown where the song will appear, but it’s likely for Guetta’s upcoming album, for which he’s already recorded with 50 Cent, Usher, and will.i.am.
HOTTTT!!! Summer smash!

David Guetta Teases Nicki Minaj's 'New Persona' On 'Where Dem Girls At?' Flo Rida is also featured on the single, which Guetta told MTV News about at Miami Music Week.
By Akshay Bhansali (@asbhansali)
MIAMI — America dances to a clubbier tune nowadays, due in large part to the diligence of four kings of current U.S. pop/urban radio: Dr. Luke, Max Martin, RedOne and David Guetta.
And MTV News has a news flash about one of those kings: Grammy-winning French producer David Guetta has almost completed a new album and has a new single hitting the airwaves most likely in the beginning of May. The yet-untitled follow-up to One Love is a disc made with both pop radio and big arenas in mind.
Akon and will.i.am are featured on the upcoming project, as are a few new partners in crime. Currently, Guetta has a dilemma, MTV News learned when we caught up with him Friday (March 25) as the DJ/producer performed during Miami Music Week. The Frenchman is going back and forth between two big bangers for a first single, a high-class problem most in the music world would welcome.
"I have two really, really big ones," Guetta told MTVN News. "One is with Taio Cruz and Ludacris and the other ['Where Dem Girls At?'] is with Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj. They are both huge records, but one sounds more European. The other one sounds a bit more U.S."
Guetta joked, "So people are fighting inside the record company: It's the U.S. against Europe. So we are gonna see who has more muscle!"
Minaj's millions of Barbz around the world would surely cast their vote for "Where Dem Girls At?" and Guetta is particularly pleased that he could bring her onboard for the song.
"We just had a big success with 'Club Can't Handle Me' together with Flo Rida, and he gave me back the favor by featuring on my album," Guetta said. "That record is absolutely huge. Like it was a monster already. And then, I wanted to add a little twist, because we just had a record together, and I'm a huge Nicki Minaj fan.
"And we met. I was gonna play records, but she said, 'You know, you should know that I wanna do a solo record. I don't want to be with somebody else,' " Guetta continued. "So I said, 'OK, no problem. Can I just play you that record?' And that record is so big that it's undeniable. And she was like, 'OK, I'll do that last one.' And it's a major record!"
But which Nicki Minaj will appear on "Where Dem Girls At?" Will it be Roman, Martha or one of her other now-famous personas? According to Guetta, maybe someone new.
"I think she kind of has a new persona for that record," Guetta shared. " She's more London now."

I feel like I should like this, and Nicki's part is hot, but it isn't clicking for me right now. It's more of the same old.

Definitely more of the same... but HOT anyway. I def think it will be Guetta's biggest US hit with the exception of "Sexy b*tch."

I hope it holds up on iTunes. It's already starting to slip but this should be the song of the summer.
Even though I don't like the final version as much as the one that leaked two weeks ago. It sounds like they copied and pasted the "Sexy b*tch" chords over it.

David Guetta Says Nicki Minaj Was Initially 'Shy' In Studio 'Then I played that record and she started to jump from her chair,' Guetta tells MTV News of his 'Where Them Girls At' partner.
By Akshay Bhansali (@asbhansali)
Released just about a week ago, David Guetta's latest single, "Where Them Girls At," featuring rapper Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, is already making noise on the charts. Following a string of successful U.S. hit singles, the song is currently in the top 10 on iTunes, an achievement the French DJ/producer is proud of, especially given the circumstances of its release.
Guetta was recently the victim of a computer hacking theft, which led him to rush the joint out without radio promotion or a music video. "Some hackers stole an a capella [version] of 'Where Them Girls At,' Guetta told MTV News. "And I was really not ready, because I made a remix for Snoop and we released that record together, the 'Sweat,' record. (It's absolutely huge everywhere, but they didn't really work it in the U.S. I think it's probably going to come back because it's really big.)
"I was not supposed to release the record so soon," he revealed. "And I was thinking of maybe using the Taio [Cruz] record as a first single. [Hackers] stole the a capella and someone produced some music around it and put my name on it and put it on the Net. So it was horrible, I really didn't like the music. People thought it was me."
Guetta is not taking the matter lightly, even hiring a Pentagon security specialist to track down the culprits. "To put out music that is not even finished, this is really disrespectful to the music. I was really mad," he added. "I started to ask people that really do security when it comes to computers, you know, specialists. So we hired this guy who's been working for the Pentagon, for security. So this is serious."
Still, even though 'Where Them Girls At' wasn't released how he planned it, Guetta is looking on the bright side.
"I had to react to this by releasing the record without any promotion," Guetta said, "Without a video, without anything. And what is really incredible and crazy is that the record is #1 on iTunes in every country in the world. It's #3 in the U.S. right now [last week]. So it's absolutely unbelievable."
The success of the banger can probably be attributed in part to the undeniable beat, which is what won over an initially hesitant Nicki Minaj. "The first time you're in the studio with someone, it's sometimes difficult," Guetta explained. "She was being a little shy or reserved, you know. And then I played that record and she started to jump from her chair and scream. And she was like, 'Wow, I love this!'
"It was an amazing start working together because I really wanted to work some more with her. I'm a really huge fan. To be honest, it's very rare that I call artists — most of the time they call me. I've been chasing her for like a year because I really wanted to work with her," Guetta confessed.
Flo Rida was similarly excited when he first heard the track, according to the French crossover star. "When I played the song with Nicki, after I had her vocals, when I played it for Flo, he was going crazy!" Guetta gushed. "He was so happy. He was really excited about it!"
Guetta, Flo and Nicki plan to shoot the video in Los Angeles in the next few weeks, and while he wouldn't disclose much about the concept, he said the clip will have "a positive message."

Nicki Minaj Debuts Hybrid Character On 'Where Them Girls At' 'I'm gonna say the craziest, most insane thing, and it's just about having fun,' Young Money star tells MTV News.
By Akshay Bhansali (@asbhansali)
Given all of Nicki Minaj's now-infamous characters, perhaps it's only fitting that for a new type of song for the Young Money princess, she broke out a new persona: a special hybrid just for French hitmaker David Guetta's latest single, "Where Them Girls At."
"It's a cross between Nicki and Roman," Minaj told MTV News this week. "I'm doing kind of a London accent. It seems like a rebel, or a rebellious little kid. That's the type of vibe that I feel on this particular record. It's party. It's fun. Who cares? I'm gonna say the craziest, most insane thing, and it's just about having fun."
Minaj confirmed what David Guetta first revealed to MTV News at Miami Music Week earlier this year: Together with Flo Rida, the pair created something special for Guetta's upcoming album. And while the song might not have been released under ideal conditions, the fans don't seem to care: In just over a week, the song maintains an impressive chart position on the iTunes singles download charts — sitting at #12 on Wednesday (May 11).
And while Guetta has lauded Minaj for her skills as an MC and openly said that he chased the opportunity to work with her for almost a year, it's endearing to hear that Minaj, in the end, was equally delighted for the chance to work with dance music's biggest crossover star.
"He really is a master — a master at his craft," Minaj said. "He's got it down pat. For me to link up with him, I'm just honored that he was reaching out. When I met him, I liked him instantly. He's sweet, he's humble, he's funny, and he's just a person you want to be around.
"He's not someone walking around with a chip on his shoulder because he's been responsible for so many #1 records," Minaj continued. "He, for whatever reason, thought that I could bring something to his album, and to this record, and I'm so excited because it opens me up to a different fanbase."
And while the very notion of Nicki Minaj jumping on a David Guetta house beat might seem strange, it might tickle electronic dance music heads to know that Minaj is a fan of house music.
"I'm a humongous fan of that music," Minaj revealed. "It's that kind of music that you get lost in. Your problems go away for those 3 minutes and 30 seconds. You're in a new world, and I live in fantasy. I love to go away into another world, and that's what that kind of music does, and so, yes, I'm a huge fan."
