New single from "Watch the Throne." Samples "Try a Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding.
This is good. I don't see it being a big Urban hit, but I don't think they care. It looks like they're going the unconventional route with this release.

I won't call this a flop because clearly they aren't trying to get "a smash" with this but.... it sounds like a mess and I don't like it.

This dosen't even sound like an album track. I do like the verses though.

This song sound purposely intended to make a "we don't care about airplay" statement but it's proving to be a bit ironic. This is ALWAYS on Power 105.

All hail king “Otis.” Jay-Z and Kanye West get the adrenaline pumping in the video for the Otis Redding-sampled single from their hot-selling album Watch the Throne, which is expected to move over 500,000 copies in its first week.
Directed by Spike Jonze (Where the Wild Things Are), the feel-good visuals show a lesser-seen side of the hip-hop heavyweights, laughing and having a blast as they chop up a Maybach (don’t worry, they’re donating proceeds to charity), set off fireworks, and go for a joy ride with some fine females. Comedian Aziz Ansari even joins the fun. We want in.

I really like the video for this. It's cool to see them having fun and not going over the top with their imagery art sh*t. I'm also surprised at how well this is doing in today's radio climate.

The song doesn't have a hook but Urban is gonna play anything by Jay-Z, regardless...especially if it's joint with Kanye.
It's the first sort of "single offering" from the album which is hugely hyped, so....

OMG, this is so hot. That sample could only be done by these two.
