50 Cent turns his swag on with “I’m On It,” the new single from his fifth album. The trunk-rattling Cataracs production features more braggadocio from Fif paired with an infectious hook.
The rap kingpin was up in arms with his label when the song prematurely leaked. He subsequently threatened to cancel the album and release Dr. Dre’s Detox record “Psycho.”
“If Jay’s Illuminati, what am I?/ Am I Bugatti?” asks 50 while spitting flashy rhymes. “Me I’m so B.I.G./ Notorious ya dig?”
The song goes to iTunes on August 16, but you can listen to it right now.

I don't know why everyone is rushing to work with the Cataracs now. They really haven't come up with a major second hit yet. Although they are pretty huge on college campuses across the country.

This is ok.
Everyone is quick to call this so different, but it sounds like the type of song Missy Elliott used to get hits with all the time in the early 00's except with a more updated beat (but still of the same style). Anyone else hear resemblance to songs like "Get Ur Freak On" or "Work It"?

I actually really hear Missy Elliott now that you point it out. I think he was trying to go for another "I Get Money" type of song. It will at least get some Urban airplay.
