"The Other Chick" had grown on me a lot, but I can see why they switched gears. Some stations already have this and apparently, it's in the same vein as "Too Little Too Late."

"The Other Chick" isn't terrible, but it's incredibly generic and forgetable. She's been gone for a looog time, they need to get it right with this single.

She's been gone for a looog time, they need to get it right with this single. Agreed. She needs to come with something immediate if she even stands a chance. She's had one hit per album and her last hit was over five years ago now.

JoJo has traveled a long and winding road since releasing her sophomore album in 2006, but she’s finally ready to step back up to the plate. The 20-year-old singer plots her return with “Disaster,” the first official single from her third album Jumping Trains. The pop record, which is reminiscent of her past hits “Too Little Too Late” and “Leave (Get Out),” is slated to hit digital retailers on September 6.
Catch her performing the song live when she hits the road with Joe Jonas and Jay Sean on a nationwide tour. The 19-city intimate club trek kicks off in JoJo’s Boston hometown on September 6.
She has also partnered with HeartSOUL to find a new face for the junior lifestyle brand’s fall/winter collection. “I am excited to team up with HeartSOUL because fashion is a big part of my life and it’s great to share it with my fans,” says JoJo.

She MURDERED this vocally. I don't know if it's better than "Too Little Too Late," but it's good.

This is really good. I don't think it's a hit in 2011 though. I don't even know if it would have been AS big as "Too Little Too Late" back in 2006, though it definitely would have been a hit then.

This is HOT. I agree that it doesn't necessarily scream 2011 hit, but it might stand a chance.

I like this but I agree it might be a bit too dated. It reminds me a little bit of "Battlefield".

I am indifferent about this but I like the shift toward more pop music and not as much dance

JoJo was welcomed back with open arms when she returned to the stage last night in Boston. The 20-year-old singer was surrounded by family and friends while opening on the first stop of Joe Jonas and Jay Sean’s North American tour at the House of Blues.
Dressed in a busty black top and leggings, she performed her hits “Leave (Get Out)” and “Too Little Too Late” as well as new material from her upcoming album Jumping Trains, including the first single “Disaster.”
“What a night… Thanks Boston. I had SO much fun,” tweeted JoJo. Catch a couple of her performances below and find out when she’ll be in a city near you.

This song is OK.
It's funny because her mixtape showed some sort of a musical evolution whereas "Disaster" is like the same old stuff she's always released.

This isn't bad, but like everyone said it's a rehash of her hits. I like "The Other Chick" better.

#38 on iTunes. I honestly didn't expect this to make the top 100. They need to send this for adds.

Got 20 adds this week.

20 adds isn't so great for impact week for a lead single. I want her to do well but I think the signs point to this flopping.
