This is terrible. This album sounds way too overproduced.

I hear the Madonna comparisons, but this is a solid album track at best. I'd be shocked if this managed to get anywhere near the Top 20.

I always thought they would go with this and not "Inside Out". I hear the Madonna comparisons, but this is a solid album track at best. I'd be shocked if this managed to get anywhere near the Top 20. I agree. I think this will perform charts-wise like Rihanna's "Rehab", but I like the song and hope I'm wrong.

I really like this. I hope it does well, and it's a nice change in style from her.

Am I the only one who thinks this is an obvious single choice? Who knows... maybe I'm full of crap.
It will probably flop, her album isn't selling and she refuses to promote. She just doesn't have the drive to sustain an era.

well she's heavily medicated i wouldn't expect her to have full motivation..she can't even dance like she used to. this song is great but not single material..i want a good video for this though.

Britney Spears To Shoot 'Criminal' Video In England Singer also graces the cover of U.K. Glamour before European leg of Femme Fatale Tour kicks off.
By Jocelyn Vena (@jocelyn1212)
Before Britney Spears kicks off the European leg of her Femme Fatale Tour later this month, she is taking care of a little business in England. Spears took to Twitter to reveal that the country would serve as the locale for her "Criminal" video.
"So excited to stop over in the UK before I start my European tour in a few weeks," she tweeted. "Can't wait! I LOVE London, it's like my second home. Decided to shoot the 'Criminal' video in the streets of merry old England when I get there..."
The news of the video shoot comes a week or so after the singer revealed to MTV News that her next single would be the Femme Fatale slow jam. She also teased that she had some interesting ideas for the video.
"The song, when I first heard it, it's really different and it's not anything I've heard like this before," she told us backstage at the VMAs. "So I really wanted to deliver this song. I was thinking of a really cool concept for the video just to make it interesting. You'll have to see."

Just in time for her Euro trip, Spears also graces the cover of Glamour's U.K. edition. In the magazine, the singer opens up about her next personal milestone: turning the big 3-0.
"I think the older you get, the wiser you get," she said. "I can't wait. I'm really excited and definitely gonna celebrate and do something spectacular. I'm gonna be in South America so I'll have to do something pretty fun. A carnival of Britney?"
Spears wears a dress with sequins and feathers on the cover, and in the article, she says she'd love to have William and Kate stop by one of her shows in London. "That would be amazing. That would be really crazy and cool. I think they're a beautiful couple," she said. "Unfortunately I didn't get to watch the [royal] wedding, but I heard it was beautiful."

I just heard this for the first time on French radio. This song is good. Different for her and really catchy and has a great atmo.
It's not a hit though. They definitely should have kept with "Inside Out."

Britney Spears Armed And Dangerous In 'Criminal' Pics Photos from London video set show Brit and real-life BF Jason Trawick making a getaway.
By Jocelyn Vena (@jocelyn1212)
Britney Spears has landed in London and she's taking the city by storm.
Since arriving in the U.K., the singer has been hard at work on the set of her "Criminal" music video, according to photos that hit the Web. The pics reveal there will be a cameo from a super special guy in her life.
In one photograph, a smiling Spears holds a gun as she leaves a convenience store with her real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick behind her. Other photos show Spears inside the store tucking the gun in the waistband of her pants, and Trawick carrying groceries and pulling Brit by the arm.
In a chat with AOL, the pop star explained that it was her idea to shoot the clip in London. "I'm shooting a video [and] I've never shot on location out of the country of America for a video," she said. "So, it should be very interesting. It was partly my idea ... to see if it could to happen, and they were like, 'Yeah, it's a great idea,' so we did it."
The Femme Fatale singer also opened up about her busy career, including the European leg of her tour which kicks off this month. So, how does she stay tour-ready at all times? "Sometimes it is , but I genuinely love what I do and I get on a routine and a schedule to keep me motivated and inspired to have the energy I need for the show," she said. "A lot of cardio, a lot of running and just try and eat clean."
Britney added that it's all about balancing motherhood and career. "You just have to find your balance and niche in your life," she said, crediting her mom and nanny with giving her a helping hand. "It's a process you learn to figure out."
