I think they were afraid that sending it too close to the holidays would get it overlooked.

Goes for adds Jan 17th. That seems so far away considering "Mr Know It All" is done. Well, we know what happened when Avril released "What The Hell" in the beginning of the year. It flat-lined almost on arrival.

Added at Z100. This is such an obvious smash. What the hell were they thinking releasing MKIA first?

First Kelly Clarkson song I've liked in a long time. This should be big for her. Also, anyone notice the backing synths on the chorus are almost identical to MGMT's "Kids"?

Most Added today at Pop. It looks like this will be big. I still think it's overrated, but good for her,

Totally overrated. It's simply acceptable.

This is so camp. It literally sounds like a Cher song.

No. 3 on iTunes and exploding at Pop radio! Ugh. This is worse than a Selena Gomez song... and that's saying something.

I was really starting to wonder if she might be over, so I'm glad to see this shaping up into a hit.

MKIA ended up being a nice sized hit for her, it was just too much of a slowburner for a first single.
This is the complete opposite, an immediate and inevitable smash. I just wonder what they'll release next.

I just wonder what they'll release next. I saw a CD on the shelves today... it said, "featuring hits Mr. Know It All, WDKY, and Dark Side"... maybe that's the next one

I think "Dark Side" would be an awful single choice. It's a decent album cut, but definitely NOT a hit.

I think "Dark Side" would be an awful single choice. It's a decent album cut, but definitely NOT a hit. I agree. I'm not sure what would be a good choice from this album. It's a solid album, but a lot of the tracks sound like "almost" hits. MKIA and WDKY were the obvious single choices (excluding the country tracks which are probably country hits in the making). I'd probably go with a completely reworked version of "I Forgive You".

Yeah I would go with the original "I Forgive You" even, "Dark Side" is not good

Up to #8 on the Hot 100 already. This is such a smash. Didn't think she'd get another huge hit like this again.
