wm.allaccess.com/allaccess/neyobeca.wmaA definite keeper for his new album and strong candidate for first single is a song called "Because of You," which he sang in the vocal booth at Sony last week.
"This one kinda picks up where 'Sexy Love' left off," he explained before heading into the booth. The quasi-sequel marks another collaboration between Ne-Yo and producers Stargate, who helmed a bunch of In My Own Words tracks as well as Ne-Yo's biggest hits as a songwriter, "Irreplaceable" and Rihanna's "Unfaithful."
"I love the way you feel," he crooned after entering the booth. He stood in front of the microphone and twirled the headphone cord so tight around his right index finger that it almost cut off circulation. "I'm so strung out on you/ Girl, you know that I like it/ And girl, it's all because of you."

I can't wait. I'm so glad he stopped after "Sexy Love" and just moved on to a new album.

Yea this sounds hot as hell, especially considering Stargate is a part of it, and I LOVED "Sexy Love". I liked all three singles from the album, but I'd rank them:
Sexy Love So Sick When You're Mad
and I loved Get Down Like That feat. Ghostface too. That's probably my 2nd fave song by him after Sexy Love.
Cant wait to hear his new stuff, I'm pretty sure it will be out this summer.

I wasn't too fond of Sexy Love. So Sick and When You're Mad were far superior IMO.
Can't wait to hear this.

Definitely looking forward to this too. I was looking forward to it anyway, but after reading the description I'm looking extra forward to it. It's happening much sooner than I thought too.

And I can't wait. I didn't realize how much I liked him, but he is definitely one of the more interesting r&b males out.

I'd rank the singles from his last album like this.
1. Sexy Love 2. So Sick
3. Stay 4. When You're Mad
I love the first two and really like the second two. I think "Let Go" and "Get Down Like That" with Ghostface are both better than "S" and "WYM" though.

I was going to say that it's probably too early to start releasing covers of Kelly Clarkson songs, but then I remembered that Simon Cowell proved that wrong in the UK.

I'm not as excited for this as I should be. I like him, but those lyrics/title seem really cliche. I'll probably like it though, I liked all of his singles and most of his album.

This sounds like "So Sick," but more uptempo. I like it, but I like his last three singles more. This is really good though. It definitely deserves to be a hit.

Yes, and it's the high quality promo rip too.
I have this on repeat. I liked it already, but it's really growing on me even more. Ne-Yo really knows how to put together a hit song. Everything down to his vocal layering is excellent.

I'm surprised this leaked so early. I posted that blurb 10 days ago but wasn't really expecting to be hearing the first single this soon. We thought the album would drop maybe in May or June so first single around March, but, it did sound like he is pretty much done with the album.
