Second single from 21.
She's calling this her 'gay anthem,' apparently because her friends told her "Chasing Pavement" wasn't gay enough.

I love this.
I don't see how it's a gay anthem though.

Ya, I don't hear it either, but it's a fantastic song.

This is good, but I think there are better choices for the second single.

This is the new single in the UK and will (eventually) be a single here (some confusion as to the next single in the US being SLY). Promo already started in the UK with an appearance on the BBCs Graham Norton Show. Absolutely hilarious interview (they always are!) followed by her first live TV performance of SFTTR.

#35 on US iTunes
Should work well as the 3rd single in the January-April timeframe

This is definitely another big hit in the US. I don't know if it can get to #1 on the Hot 100 though, because by the time this is released in early 2012 it will have already sold sooooo much.

I don't really see it being another Hot 100 #1 either, but....she will be coming off 2 major smashes and she's on fire right now, so I wouldn't rule it out... I don't think it will hit #1 but still be a Top 3 peak.

Great choice. RHI is a different pace, but they need this out now.

Great choice... RHI can wait for 4th, this will keep this era rolling through the winter, along with the Grammys.

#7 on the Hot 100 and blowing up on radio. She's already has a more successful singles era in the US than in the UK

up to #4 on the Hot 100
This is #2 on iTunes and the three songs above it in the Hot 100 are quickly slipping in sales and only Bruno Mars is still gaining in airplay.
This could be her third Hot 100 #1.

+2052 at Pop Guess this settles the "did they select the right single?" debate.

It's the most radio-friendly single on the album.
