Is this the type of song that would crossover to Pop?

Well, it's actually been done as a pop song (as mentioned, S Club's Jo O'Meara), but I don't know if I could see it actually crossing over. Maybe make a splash at Hot AC, but I probably wouldn't get my hopes up if I were them.

I think this can go Top 10 at Hot AC and AC and maybe Top 40 at CHR/Pop. It sounds like boyband pop with just a little splash of country.

All these suburban NJ girls have this on their iPods and AIM profiles now. Being in the iTunes Top 10 sure gives songs a lot of exposure.

Moves up to #6 on the Hot 100. I wonder when the last time a country song got higher was. The last I can think of is Faith Hill in late 2000 or early 2001. What's especially impressive though is that this is #6 on the Hot 100 and Country is the only format playing it. The most similar case I can think of is "Long Time Gone" by the Dixie Chicks in 2002 and I think that one peaked at #7. Garth Brooks got to #4 with "Lost In You" in 1999. That one peaked at #42 CHR/Pop. It's a slightly similar case.
