I d/l this and I like it a lot, but i think this will do nothing at HAC radio, especially If "Sitting, Waiting, Whishing" flopped, but who kwnows.

I actually like this more than "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing," but it's more toned down. The one thing Jack has going for him now that he didn't when "S, W, W" was released is that he really built up a lot more name recognition and following for himself, so hopefully hype can get him a little higher. This is also bound to have a nice debut on the Hot 100, so that should help him get noticed too.

Hopefully he gets more recognition by the time when his new album drops, because he's selling a lot of records without any radio support, only Triple A. All I want is more HAC radio support. This is from the BB 200 April 7, 2005 Chart: JOHNSON*JACK ON & ON 1,169,927 JOHNSON*JACK BRUSHFIRE FAIRYTALES 1,685,265

Most impressive is: JOHNSON*JACK IN BETWEEN DREAMS 1,758,058 (that's of 2005 year-end)
I agree he should be a staple of HAC. I kind of think "Never Know" would have been guarenteed to get him a hit at the format, but they didn't go with that as a single.

This is a good song, and I'm really surprised at how well it is doing on iTunes, soundtrack singles are doing really well!

I'm not a fan of his at all, but I like this better than any of the singles from his last album.

He should be a staple on HotAC, but HotAC is a little faster paced I guess. I like his stuff including this song quite a bit

This is going to do very well for him. I don't think it can get hime a huge radio hit, but I do think it's got a good chance of becoming his biggest hit to date.
Also, this was starting to fall at iTunes over the past couple of days, down to #17 at one point. But now it's going back up and is currently back at its peak of #12.

Ugh. I don't think this song is that great and preferred all of the singles from In Between Dreams. Never Know HAS to be released still at some point - I think that would easily give him his biggest hit. I know it was scheduled to be the second single so hopefully it will still be considered.

It's okay but "Good people" was much better, it was in my top five favourite singles of last year.

The video is really good, but really juvenile. It's basically Jack dives into the ocean and ends up in this animated bizarro world with all the Curious George characters.

They're almost pimping the "Curious George" Soundtrack as much as the movie.

the IBD singles here went 'SWW', 'GP', and now 'better together'; which has a really cool live video where the audience sings the whole first verse. jack is really big here.

This crashed down iTunes after it went as high as #12 in its first week of release. But, it's been steadily climbing back up the iTunes chart and this morning is back in the Top 20 at #19. I expect downloads to increase more with the release of the movie and the soundtrack. Hopefully, this will find enough downloads longevity to hang around relatively high on the Hot 100 so radio will finally buy into his music a little.

Added at WPLJ New York! This is the first Jack Johnson song they've added since "Flake." Actually, I don't even think they added that song. I'm glad little by little, Jack is getting more attention to match his sales.
