Heard this for the first time on the radio... I like it. Almost on par, if not better, than I'm Feeling You. I hope this song does better and actually charts well on the Hot 100

61 48 SANTANA Just Feel Better(f/S... 534 358 176 2.225 starting to drop its bullet Don't worry too much... it's really hard for anything to keep a strong bullet for long at this time of year. We kind of have to wait til January to get a more clear idea of how songs will perform.

For some reason, this is doing exactly what I expected. It started off big and is quickly falling apart. I don't see any real reason why it would pick up. The first single is a flop. The album is a flop... and the song is by two men who are like 60.

This has grown on me majorly and I often find it stuck in my head now.
This is at #12 at HAC, so hopefully it picks up enough to make the Top 10.

This is done now. This song was (probably literally) made for HAC radio and it's Steven Tyler's first single since 2001 with Aerosmith. Aerosmith left on a high-note back then. It's sad that two rock legends are on song together and it semi-flops even at it's core format. I seriously think if this were the lead single, it would have done fine. It would have been a Top 3 HAC hit with longevity, but instead they went after Pop success in vain. The irony is they used someone (Michelle Branch) who doesn't even carry any weight at Pop. They should have lowered their marketing expectations from the beginning and they would have been better off.

Aerosmith have actually had a few singles since 2001 that didn't do much. They had a minor pop hit in the summer of 2002. Then they had an album a couple of years ago that only got play at Active Rock.

Aerosmith's 2004 album was just a side-project. The last time they were in the public eye, they had a Top 10 Hot 100 hit, headlined the Super Bowl, and were the recipients of MTV's Icon. Regardless though, my initial point is this song would have done much better at HAC if it were the lead single, but instead the label went for what they considered Pop appeal.

I know Vh1 played this a lot, but I can see them feature the video for this song in their "Awesomely Bad Videos of 2006".

I think this album wouldn't have been such a big flop if he had just released this album when it was basically finished for the most part early last year. "My Man" was a smash. He waited too long and Mary ended up having her own album out so he got stuck releasing the bland tracks. I'm pretty sure this will be the final installment in the guest artist album triology.

Even though I haven't enjoyed more than about 5 songs from Shaman and Trinity combined, some great songs have come out of them. It's great to hear artists go out of their element and make chilled out Latin rock songs. I was holding out hope for another album as high quality as Supernatural (don't even care about success anymore)- but it's time to give it up.

My girlfriend saw it and she had just one word: "GROSS"
