Warner Bros. is supposedly planning on this being the third single. They're not even putting out an adds date for the second single yet though despite the fact that the album is looking at a huge debut for him and the song has 5 million audience with no label support.
This one is catchy, but the lyrics are really dumb and the beat sounds cheap and dated like something I would have expected from R&B in 2002. I can't see this doing much at all, even if "The Chosen One" becomes a big success for him. It's like hip-hop disco and I don't see either Urban or Urban AC fully buying into that. I think "125th" and "Masterpiece" are the best choices for third singles. I really do believe though that sometimes songs get more immediate interest because of their title and "125th" has kind of a weird title for a single. I could see some programmers not playing it as much just because the title isn't "immediate". I also prefer "Masterpiece" so I'm hoping they'll change to that one third. He hasn't released enough real slow jams in his career.
