This song is getting tons of support from MTV2 and Fuse. It's alright, but it sounds identical to "Ohio IsFor Lovers."
Personally, I don't get why the video outlets try to break teeny-punk like this or My Chemical Romance so bad. The genre isn't selling at iTunes, isn't selling albums, and isn't even doing too well at Alternative radio. I wish the video stations would push acts like The Bravery and Bloc Party instead as long as their giving support to acts not all over the radio.

Some facts...
-My Chemical Romance's CD has gone platinum, and Helena peaked at #33 on the Hot 100 with the help of Itunes.
-Hawthorne Heights are on Victory Records, an indie label, and for them to sell 600,000 copies of their album is pretty impressive.
but yeah, I mean, I like "Niki FM" and "Ohio Is For Lovers" but I tried listening to their album and it wasn't pretty. I don't get why MTV2 whores the sh*t out of them.
Oh yes, this band has a lot of haters! But I'm excited for their new album, I just listened to the first single and I liked it.

That's true.... but in the case of MCR, "Helena" was the most played videos of the summer across MTV, MTV2, MTV Hits, and Fuse, and it didn't do well at iTunes til they performed it at the VMA's. "The Ghost Of You" has been on the MTV networks and Fuse all Fall, and I've yet to see it in the iTunes Top 100... which is weird, since video play usually influences iTunes a lot. Basically, platinum is great for them... it just seems they should be doing a lot more considering all their MTV saturation for the past 7 or 8 months. Same goes for Hawthorne Heights to a lesser extent.
