JC Chasez is now attempting to come back with a dated adult contemporary ballad. This is the lead single from his sophomore album.

This is ok, but I hope this doesn't become a trend and we have to hear these types of songs all summer long.

Such inane lyrics... "your toothbrush is still next to mine, your clothes are still hanging in the closet..." Oh please... ... next!

His first album was actually good, horrible single choices though.
Is this supposed to be his song about Eva Longoria? It's pretty bland, doesn't even sound like him. Better than Nick's song though IMO.

I don't know if he will ever find any solo success. He's too nice to cause any controversy, too old to attract tween girls, and now he's making bland cookie-cutter songs that sound uninspired and tired.

JC always showed the most promise out of any of the 90's pop boybands for me, but he hasn't impressed me with any of his singles yet. It's like I knew and respected what he was trying to pull off on his last album, but he just couldn't do it. He needed more guidance. This song is just a cop out. Now he's completely faceless.

yeah he's trying the safe-way instead of trying to take some risk like he did with his last album... then he could've done some generic r'n b stuff like justin and maybe sell quite a bit but he didn't

It's not awful. I won't be upset if it becomes a hit or if it flops.

Some of the lyrics are moronic, but I like the melody of the chorus. This obviously sounds like both BSB's "Incomplete" and Nick Lachey's "What's Left of Me". Definitely different from his first album's stuff....I suspect Jive sent him in the studio with those writers and wanted a damn hit. Who knows if he'll get it. Honestly, i'm pleasantly surprised that JC still has a solo deal.
