The band confirmed to NME that this will be the fourth and final single from X&Y, worldwide. I love this song but it's not cut for Alt radio. Flop (And I'd say about 90% of the people at Coldplay's main fansite are bummed out that this is the single)

I played this a couple times on repeat just to see...I think it could do something afterall. Atleast it being Coldplay will get them some play...and it sounds pretty radio friendly.
I still think they should push "Talk" to CHR/POP.

I LOVE THIS SONG! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D It was my favorite song on the album on first listen. I still love it and based on quality alone, it gets an A+ from me. I just think it's too lite for them to release as a single since they already released a softer song from this era and flopped with it.

The three I really like on the album are "Speed Of Sound," "Talk," and "White Shadows". I can totally do without this being a release. I've never been into it much.

I like this enough, but I wouldn't have picked it.

If I like this song, I am definitely buying X&Y!

I think they should be even bigger now, especially after releasing one her best songs. I know they sell a LOT of albums but I feel that they're being a little bit "ignored" this time, I don't know...

The more I listen to this with the thought of "single.." the better I think it'll do.
It's very catchy, very radio friendly...I think it could atleast go top 20 (but I want it to do better). Maybe even a follow up to "Talk" on CHR/POP.

The video will be directed by Mary Wigmore who directed several Gwyneth Paltrow movies including Shallow Hal and The Royal Tenenbaums.

So this COMPLETELY flopped, eh?
That really sucks. But with the video they made, and the lack of promotion, I take it they didn't really give a crap about it's success anyway.
Still, it's a great song.

Haha, the video is hilarious, but they really should've gone with "White Shadows" as the 4th single.
