This has a very ol' skool feel....I like it....that talking (or rapping) in the middle of the song could have been left out....for sure though.

Every ballad on her album sounds exactly the same. The same production, typical Teena lyrics, and no hook. She made better ballads than this in her sleep during her prime.

Well give me a whole album full of ballads because those songs put me in a mood and although I do have a few guilty pleasures getting played nonstop on the radio none of those songs is anything that I can say I'll be listening to years from now. The only thing I don't like about the album is the guest rappers. Teena more than holds it down enough on her own and they don't add anything to the songs they are on.

She took an extremely long time between the second and third singles from La Dona too. The singles went for adds like 9 months apart.

It's OK, I don't see it doing much. "You Blow Me Away" is a much better ballad. "Cruise Control" would've been a safer single choice.........like 4 months ago.
This album is over.
