This song seems incredibly too short.
It sounds like the first half of what could be a really a good song.

Yeah, I love this song. I just wish it could be longer. I mean it's only 2 minutes long. They could of added a bridge and an extra chorus.

I like this but I'm distracted by how stupid the lyrics are. "Don't listen to the telephone... I've got the telephone!"

This was posted in another forum:
Got this response from 104thex: I like the song and I love the band, but I think my boss would kill me if I played a song that encouraged people to turn the radio off. If you've ever sen the movie "Network," you can see what happens to a TV anchor who tells his viewers to turn of the TV.
Seriously, we had a discussion about this and all of us were kind of insulted that a band as cool as the vines would want us to play a song that - on the surface at least - minimizes what we do. Did they not realize the backlash they would have with dj's? The should have called it "Hang Up The Telephone" and we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Even though that's kinda lame, it's the only reason why this flopped.

This is better than the singles from their second album, which was a huge disappointment IMO.
And the length of this song is perfect, short and to the point.

You're right, but then again, I think that this song is also kinda lame.

Their new album is definately an improvement over the last one. Still not as good as their debut though.
For people complaining about the length of this track, there's only one song on their new album over 3:00 minutes, LOL.
