wm.allaccess.com/allaccess/angethea.wmaNew band from Tom Delonge of Blink-182. I heard their song last night at a "Freshly Squeezed" segment of my local alt station and it sounds like a grower. I like the atmospheric qualaties of it, but overall, it was pretty dull. I can't find the song anywhere, its not on their myspace or on their purevolume.

I look really forward to hearing this although I'm not expecting anything as good as blink 182.

It's on their website. I heard it like a month ago.
It's not that bad. I sort of like it but I have to hear it more to determine if I will in the future.

I like this a lot. Nice airy summer rock. Thanks for channeling your solo talent, Tom. Now you can go back to blink!

I've heard this a few more times now. On the radio actually. It's really growing on me a lot. I'd love it if this was a big Rock hit during the summer.

This sounds SO MUCH like blink. It's almost funny. I like this a lot. I definitely like it more than blink's last couple of singles.

It reminds me of blink but more for the California yuppy crowd or something. I mean, most of blink's songs have that Cali sound... but this one is over the top with it. That's a good thing.

I just realized this doesn't even go for adds until April 11. In that case, this is doing REALLY well so far.

The only mp3 I have has like a one minute intro which is kind of annoying. lol

Tom has actually said this song was influenced by The Cure. Listening to it with that in mind, I can notice it... though it's subtle. But there are those slight electro flourishes present here.

Almost everything blink has been involved with the past few years borrows heavily from The Cure but I actually think this borrows a lot less than most of the material on their last album.

I saw my high school age cousins yesterday and they're already heavy into this song. It's somehow getting around fast by word of mouth since it's not like any stations in the area are playing this and it's not like my cousins make an effort to keep up with music (in fact, they didn't even know this was blink-related).

I feel like an idiot but I didn't realize Tom is actually the one singing on this. No wonder it sounds just like him. lmfao

The more I listen to this, the more I like it. There's so many details in the song like the background vocals at the end and a lot of nice light sound effects in the production.
This album has suddenly become one of my most anticipated of the year out of nowhere.

This is now on iTunes. I was hoping maybe, just maybe, enough people would know about this for it to make the Top 100. That's probably really jumping the gun though.

I love this song. I can't wait for the album. lol Tom is in like 3 bands already (this, Blink 182 and Boxcar Racer.) I hope after he's done with this project, that he returns with Blink 182.

Still pre-impact...
Top 30 now and the greatest gainer excluding "Dani California" (which is an unusual circumstance).

This is excellent. As for the issue of whether or not it sounds like Blink - I would say that it sounds like a logical progression from their last (self-titled) album. The punk-pop sound of their older albums is pretty much absent from this song, but the strong Cure influences from the last album are there.

Plus, it's got an emo feel similar to most blink ballads/mid-tempos.
