This song is really different from the first two singles. It's much more light and very radio-friendly. Actually, satellite radio is already on this one. Probably a frontrunner for third single. I think it has a lot of potential at radio, but hopefully it won't be too late by then.

It's my favorite on the album.

This desperately needs to be a single. "On The Other Side" as well.

Third single... not sure if it matters now though.

Can't believe there still isn't an adds date. If this one does well, they could still release Razorblade or On The Other Side. It's a perfect song for summer, and it'd be nice to have out since they'll be on tour here.

There's an adds date already, July 18th.

Wow, that's late. I still have faith in this song, though.

Are they still going to send this for adds in July?
This song has always reminded me of another song, and I finally figured it out. Maybe it's just me, but I find it musically similar to "I Want To Break Free" by Queen.

Yeah, it goes for adds on July 17. I love this. Their whole album is great.

This is being handled horribly. The adds date has been pushed back again, this time to August 1. It's as if the record company is looking for ways to make this flop. The Strokes are already at a disadvantage after the way "Heart In A Cage" performed, so what makes them think they can pull this off? It sucks, because this is a deserving band with an awesome song to offer to radio.
Weird that bands like The Strokes and Death Cab get so much (merited) hype but rarely manage to make any noise at radio. Why do y'all think that is?

I love this song, I can't believe it's being so mishandled.

This song is amazing, and should have gone for adds right after "Heart In A Cage" peaked. If this does become a hit, i hope "Razorblade" gets released next.

Actually, I think that as soon as "Juicebox" peaked, this should have been sent to radio, followed by "Razorblade". It's frustrating to watch a band as awesome as The Strokes get screwed over by radio time and time again.

This has a whopping 24 spins at Alternative radio. Kudos to RCA for handling this release so well!
Except, not.

You would think that since the video's been out for two weeks the adds date would have been pushed up, not back. It's unquestionably their best single since Reptilia so I still think alternative might give it a chance.

Speaking of the video, it's gross, LOL. Is that supposed to be raw sewage?

Apparently this went for adds this past week. I guess we won't actually see how many adds this picked up until Wednesday, but hopefully Alternative didn't forget about these guys. They are up slightly, back into the Top 100, so we'll see. It's hard for me to have faith in a single that has been treated like crap, but hey, if it does actually manage success of any degree, it'll be a nice bonus.

I looked in the 60's and 70's just now on the Alternative chart, this was nowhere to be found. I rolled my eyes - "flopping again", I said. But no! This actually has a shot at the Top 50 this week! I'm still not convinced that it isn't too late for this one, but maybe/hopefully I'll be proven wrong!

It failed to chart in the UK, think it was disqualified for some bizarre reason.
Anyway, I think it's a great track- probably my 3rd favourite on the album behind "VIsion of Division" and "Juicebox".
