They want to sound like U2 with this new album, thats what I heard. Seems like every band wants to do that.

Yeah, right. I'm sure they will continue with their pop/punk sound. I don't care about them even though I liked "The Ghost Of You".

"Helena", both song and video were masterpieces, say what you will.

I agree. "Helena" was awesome, but i like "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" even better. Looking forward to their new stuff.

All of their singles were WONDERFUL.... I haven't had the time or energy to seek out listening to the rest of their album.

I don't care for them, but their videos always seem to be top-notch at least.

I happen to think the song is pretty awesome. I'm pretty sure the studio version of this will be amazing. I don't know if this will be a success at radio because it takes way too long for the song to pick up. Recent songs that were pretty long ("Jesus of Suburbia" and "Welcome Home") all flopped.

But this is going to be the first single, it has a chance. I liked what I heard on the live clip, all fans of MCR's previous work seem to like it.

Just like i predicted...this sounds awesome in HQ. The song is not as long as i thought it would be. It's just over 5 minutes. I don't think it needs a radio edit.

This song doesn't "wow" you like most 6-minute songs. You just think, "Huh. So it was 6 minutes long."

They suck live, so i still have hope for the HQ, I'll have to give it a listen.

Yeah, the first thought that popped into my mind when I heard this was "it sounds like something from a musical". I happen to like musicals, but I'm not sure if I like this.
