New single from Bloc Party. Bloc Party announce new single details'Flux' to be released next month Bloc Party are set to release a brand new single on November 12.'Flux' was recorded with Jacknife Lee, who also produced 'A Weekend In The City'. The single will feature two exclusive tracks. 'Emma Kate's Accident' on the CD version and 'The Once And Future King' on the seven-inch. Well the first play is tonight (well it's Thursday 4 October here now ) on XFM. I think they said after 7PM on Music:Response.

This is very electronic but typical Bloc Party too. I'm not a fan of the verses but the hook is solid.

I'm really undecided on this, but I think I'll end up loving it. The music is incredible and goes really well with the verses, but the chorus sounds like it's from a different song. I wouldn't call it typical at all.

I compare this to "The Prayer". Strong hook with modest verses but more electronic but distinctive Bloc Party sound.

Whoa- this is VERY dance. It's hardcore rave music or something.
I thought I wasn't going to like this a lot until the chorus came. I agree with Will- the verses are ok but the hook is great.

wow, call me hooked. those lyrics are amazing. i wish they hada played this when i saw them in august, this is sooooooooo f**king danceable. id be happy if the new album sounded like this. btw, is this a re-release or a lead-off?
