Fans of Tori Amos/Kate Bush may like this. This is the new single by Bat For Lashes, alias Natasha Khan, a Pakistan-born, Brighton based songwriter. Her debut album Fur and Gold was released late last year and her work has been likened to that of Bjork, Cat Power,Tori Amos and Kate Bush. The new single "Prescilla" is a beautifully crafted, yet simple pop classic, and it will be released on CD, vinyl and digital download in the UK on 12th March. www.batforlashes.co.uk/www.myspace.com/batforlashes VIDEO: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtRCzmvvdDU

I really like this. It's fresh, the beat and the instrumental are hot.

I love this. She's obviously very influenced by Kate Bush. It shows in the video too.

This, "Sad Eyes," "The Wizard," Tahiti," and "Seal Jubilee" are the best off the album.

This is getting some radio-play now, well... on 6Music. Do you think it might be re-released due to the album getting Mercury nominated? I hope so, when I bought the single in March it could only make it to number 29 on the Indie chart and failed to make the Top 200 of the main singles chart.

I really like this one, but it pales in comparison to "What's a Girl to Do?"
