Sean Kingston is set to score a fourth week at number one with Plain White T's at number two for a third. "Ayo Technology" will be top five, "The Pretender" top ten. Peter Bjorn & John are set to enter the top fifteen with Phil Collins in the top twenty.
Milburn are top forty. Damien Rice, Moby ("Extreme Ways"), Ronson/Winehouse and Kanye's "Homecoming" will just scrape the top seventy-five and Lil Chris will just miss it.
Blunt will be number one on the album chart, Kanye number two and Reverend & The Makers number three. Booty Luv and Phil Collins are top twenty.

They've been number one on iTunes for a while, so I wouldn't totally rule it out

They're #1 in Airplay too.

It's a shame the Lil' Chris song won't do better. I really like it, and it's MILES better than the Gym Class Heroes' song.

Hmmm, yeah. I was going to say it's only out on download so far, but it's not having a physical release. All I can say is that it only seems to be getting any attention for the first time this week (the video is actually getting added and played on music stations now), so I'd expect it to climb. Although, if it does chart outside the top 75 I've won a bet with my friends that he wouldn't be remembered in a years time from his first single

I think we all know I don't have any real life friends...
No lol, but we do talk about the many people who annoy us (OK, me) and he's high on that list

I'm reading that the release of a remix of "About You Now" to iTunes is putting the track in the Top 40. Is this true?

The original version isn't on iTunes yet. However, a remix EP is. The Spencer & Hill Remix (the one you sent me ) is at #12 on the top 100, putting it inside the top forty in the latest midweeks. The physical is out October 1, I'm not sure when the radio edit goes to iTunes, though

Thanks! I hope it goes #1. It seems like that's where it's heading.

I hope they release the original to iTunes on Monday to maximise it's chart position. The only other October 1 physical releases with a shot at top five (in my opinion) are Jennifer Lopez and Kate Nash, neither of whom have much chance at number one. With nothing much out on the 24th, it's likely that either Kingston will get a fifth week at the top or Plain White T's sneak in there - meaning a very weak number one leading into the week of their release, so I think the 'Babes have a definite chance of victory. How's that for a decent response

lol That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Now, I am feeling really sh*tty because I LOOOVE the Media Virus remix to "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off." It sounds like his balls have dropped, and his voice is a LOT better.

Great chart this week... YEAH JAMES!!
* I'm really happy with the Babyshambles debut! Completely deserved and their second best charting single to date.
* Excellent leap for Mark Ronson & Amy Winehouse -- almost a month before the official single even comes out!!
* I expected Mika's album to hold steady with the new single, but it hasn't been able to maintain its spot very well. A few weeks ago, it was top 5. I was hoping that if album sales remained strong with "Happy Ending" on the airwaves, we might be able to get another single off the album...
* I guess I was wrong, but I thought "Suburban Knights" did well enough to prevent such a huge fall for the album.
