wm.allaccess.com/allaccess/starisla.wmaI don't know if anyone remembers this band. They were somewhat hyped up in 2002 by MTV but never made it. I think this will end-up being my power/pop song of the summer.

The same guy that produced "Move Along" produced this and it does sound like that song.

I love it from first listen. It's very season appropriate for right now too which always makes a good song great.
What was their single back in '02 again?

Yeah but to be honest, I HATE how iTunes doesn't let you buy in the mp3 format. I hate m4a's. I can't even listen to what I buy on iTunes on my regular jukebox program (Musicmatch)

Whoa... I just noticed that this is actually charting. Awesome.
ETA: I'm actually surprised that G Rock hasn't added this yet. It totally sounds like the sub-genre of rock that's popular at the Jersey shore.

The album is solid. I recommend "What You Want" and "Somebody's Gonna Miss Us."

This was my unknown song over the summer. Then I moved away from it. Now that I hear it more, I LOVE it again. I really hope this becomes a sleeper multiformat hit in the new year.

This is really different to what I expected a song called "Float Away" to sound like. It's good, though.

Top 21 Smash...
Why this hasn't been pushed to Pop radio yet is beyond me.

Top 21 Smash... Why this hasn't been pushed to Pop radio yet is beyond me. Me too. Although I can't see Pop catching on to an Alternative "hit" that wasn't actually a hit, without any promo for that amtter. The song would sound amazing on the format though.
