Music is the only thing that makes sense anymore... play it loud enough, it keeps the demons at bay.

I know I'm gonna get slaughtered for saying this, but I'm at best an average Radiohead fan, and I was NOT impressed with In Rainbows. This song is weak and too hard to follow, just like every Radiohead song lately. Pass.

No, I agree. They have made some great music, but a lot of their stuff is pretentious hookless sludge. Pretty much since Kid A IMO. Reading reviews of their albums is an exercise in eye-rolling, so over-praised.

I'm a Radiohead fan, but I definitely agree that they are overrated by a lot of people, especially critics. I do think In Rainbows is one of their finest moments, though.

"In Rainbows" is probably my 2nd favorite album by them, especially considering my feelings after the disappointing "Hail to the Theif". They are somewhat overrated, but its just that some people love them and others hate them.
I consider them my favorite band/artists of all time. And for me they are miles ahead. I can also recognize that their music is very hard to get into for most people, especially the post-OK Computer material.

I agree "Paranoid Android" was an MTV staple in the 90s. But it's not an oversight that it didn't chart. I'm only surprised "Karma Police" and "High and Dry" didn't have higher peaks since they're considered bigger hits by them.
Also, "Pyramid Song" was not a US Single. We got "I Might Be Wrong" as the first and only single off of Amnesiac. That's why it's missing. Don't ask why though. It made no sense then and still doesn't.

This is #7 with a good bullet still. It's officially the second biggest hit of their career at radio. Something seems really off about that.

That's where it peaked in the end. It certainly says more about radio than the song, but congrats to Radiohead on their biggest hit!

I hated this when I first heard In Rainbows, but it (and the album) has grown on me. Here's hoping they don't turn their nose up at the success this saw (See Also: "Creep")
