One of the best pop albums of my lifetime drops this March 6th in the US. I downloaded this album about three weeks ago, and it is stunning. There is seriously no track I even remotely dislike. I highly recommend this album to anyone who likes catchy pop music. LOL It really is AMAZING.

I downloaded "Jenny" because I saw it posted on a blog and remembered your pimping of them Alex. I thought it was ok. Would you consider it one of the stronger/catchier songs on the album?

"Jenny" isn't one of my favorites. The best are "Treehouse," "Oversleeping," "Chicken Pox," and "The Saddest Lullaby."

OH MY GOD. I was first row for their set at Lollapalooza, and it was the best thing I have ever seen in my entire life. All 29 members of the band looked like they were having the best time ever, and they sounded like it too. It's really hard to describe how good this was. There was just this general feeling of euphoria among the audience and the band that was so f**king captivating.

I'm From Barcelona are still a bunch of liars. (I mean, they are so not from Barcelona. They're from Jönköping, Sweden.) They still have way too many members to count, with recent press material putting the number at the rather inexact 20+. And, two years on from their Best New Music'd debut Let Me Introduce My Friends, if still you like your bands big and your hooks even bigger, well, they're still gonna give that to ya.

Yes, the many lads and lasses of I'm From Barcelona collected themselves long enough to craft a brand new full-length for a fall release. It's called Who Killed Harry Houdini?, so named after IFB leader Emanuel Lundgren's fascination with the life and suspicious death of the late illusionist, as well as Lundgren's own time spent trying--and failing--to be a magician. It was co-produced by Lundgren and Fabian "Phat Fabe" Torsson, and features French folkie SoKo on "Gunhild". The disc is due October 14 on Mute, with the first single, "Paper Planes" (hey, that sounds familiar), out August 19.

I'm From Barcelona will make handful of European festival appearances throughout the rest of the month, before heading back to the city from whence they came. Which, again, is not Barcelona. You're so pretty when you lie, giant Swedish band.
