My friends turned me on to this f**king weird album. It's SO odd, but quite enjoyable. "Werewolf" is definitely a tune. So, the album is good yada yada yada, but the big news is...
Brooklyn, New York psych-rock sister group CocoRosie have cancelled the rest of their North American tour, except for one New York City date, under mysterious circumstances.
Pitchforkmedia.com alluded to a bulletin on the group's MySpace page, which is no longer there, that said they had been arrested and wouldn't be able to play their scheduled shows in support of their fourth Touch And Go album, Adventures Of Ghosthorse & Stillborn. Here's their cryptic message:
"dear loves. we are so sorry to announce that we cannot play the rest of the us tour dates. the band got arrested, thats all i can say. we love you all. we are playing a free show in New York on may 19th. please come if you can. we are crying. say a prayer for our band. love Sierra and Bianca. later..."
House Of Blues Concerts Canada issued a release saying that the CocoRosie tour, including the May 14 show at Toronto's Lee's Palace, was cancelled due to visa issues. The May 15 performance at Montreal's La Tulipe has also been scrapped.
A European tour is still slated to go ahead.

The word from a concert promoter in town is that they falsified their Visas and are still in jail. THE DRAMA!
