"Melatonin" "Well Thought Out Twinkles" "Checkered Floor" "Little Lover's So Polite" "Future Foe Scenarios" "Waste It On" "Lazy Eye" "Rusted Wheel" "Dream At Tempo 119" "Three Seed" "Common Reactor" Strangely this, one of my favourite albums of the year, doesn't have a thread. It peaked at #1 on Heatseekers and #80 on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 160,000 copies. Breakthrough single "Lazy Eye" recently peaked at #5 on Alternative and #2 on Bubbling Under. It was released in the UK on Monday, following a 7" of "Future Foe Scenarios" which came out on the 21st.

I have NOT heard "Table Scraps". I'm still debating whether they belong in the indie board or not.

I'm still debating whether they belong in the indie board or not. I think so. According to the UK release schedule their next single is "Lovers", which I'm assuming is "Little Lover's So Polite".

I love this band now. I can't get into ALL of their songs, but "Lazy Eye" and "Well Thought Out Twinkles" are two of my favorite this year. I also love "Three Seed" and "Rusted Wheel."
Can't get into "Little Lovers So Polite" though, and I've tried.

My sister swears that the lead singer is female. I'm like there's no way.
Which one of us is tripping on some wack sh*t? I'm pretty sure it's her but now I just want to verify.

LMAO.
I knew she was wrong. It doesn't even sound like a girl- but she thinks she's always right so I won't even bother telling her how wrong she is.

The leader singer is a guy, but the bassist who also contributes vocals is female. You're both right!

Does the girl sing on "Lazy Eye" at all? Because that's the song my sister was basing it off of.

You can stream the whole thing here. The remixes are nice, if nothing overly special.

I really want a new album this year. They're STILL milking Carnavas though.
