www.myspace.com/coconutrecordsGet over your withdrawl from The OC with Coconut Records! It's actually the solo moniker for Phantom Planet frontman Jason Schwarzman. It's very summery, breezy emo-lite that reminds me of Bright Eyes meets Rooney. Music that is able to transport you to a certain place is always pretty cool to me- and this music makes me feel like I'm chillin in SoCal. "West Coast" is my favorite.

I KNEW "West Coast" already sounded familiar. Turns out a demo version was played in an episode of The OC in Season 4.

I love the song song "Nighttiming." It reminds me of Young Love. Pure Calipop with some dance elements thrown in. One of my songs for the summer now.

I LOVE this record - Westcoast and Nightiming are amazing songs and Schwartzman sounds just like Kevin Barnes from Of Montreal.
