Their harmonies are on point in this song. When I think of The Emotions I think of En Vogue because they were the only female group that had harmonies come close to the female groups way back in the day. I really like this song.

Um, this is a classic slow jam from the late-1970s. I really like this song a lot. It's too bad that they'll always be known for their poppy disco songs like "Best Of My Love" and "Boogie Wonderland," because their best recordings were their more mid-tempo R&B/Soul tracks.
My favorites are "So I Can Love You," "Flowers," and this song. Check out "Blind Alley" some time. It later gave birth to Mariah Carey's "Dreamlover" and LL Cool J's "Pink Cookies in a Plastic Bag Getting Crushed By Buildings."

Amazing. They definitely were the queens of harmonies.

Now that someone brought this one back. I wanted to mention Jade did a remake of this track on their debut album. Their version doesn't come close to the original production wise but their vocals were really good, definitely not better then The Emotions but respectable. Also "Pure Soul" & "For Real" are 2 other female groups with excellent harmonies I wanted to spread love too.

Love it!
But "Sunshine" is probably their best album, classic.
