One of my favorite songs EVER by her. The baseline is incredible and the video was sweet! ;D

I loved this, but is not one in my favorites songs by her. It sounds very different from the "The Boy Is Mine Monica".

This was really good, but it was a terrible choice to follow up "So Gone". They sounded too similar. I loved the early 80's style of R&B she was going for. It kind of reminded me of Deniece Williams.

I don't really care about this song, the rap part was funny and the video was great though (lmao @ the beach scene)
Although i liked So gone i hope she won't work with Missy, i was more into songs like "Ain't gonna cry no more", "I wrote this song" or "Hurt the most" which had more substance imo

I actually liked that she worked with Missy because the sound was totally different for Monica and it was really fresh for her. But songs like "Ain't Gonna Cry No More" or "I Wrote This Song" could be perfectly included in "The Boy Is Mine".

Yep it was fresh for her and i loved these new songs when the album came out, but i rarely listen to these tracks now, i guess i prefer the old school Mo lol

Pretty good tune. Whoa! Is this song already old enough for the Record review board? Man, time passes quickly.

The fact that this followed up "So Gone" ruins this for me. It's a nice song by itself.

Should have performed better. Not only did it sound too much like "So Gone," but the double-A Side killed it too.

I loved this song from Monica. I heard there was alil controversy between Kanye and Monica between the video....iunno. I haven't really heard the version with him in it, although i know he did produce the song with missy. I liked the video, it was a shame out here on the West it didn't get very much radio play.

it was shocking for a lot of people, particularly her crew, that this wasn't huge--- coming off a massive R&B hit, and the production on this was amazing. It really was just too similar to "So Gone" at the time, I think maybe even if it had been the 3rd single it would have been okay. Ended up peaking at #24 R&B.
