It amazes me that this is one of her biggest flops. It's my favorite song by her. It's such a smooth, vocally empowered quiet storm ballad.
As strange as it is, Quicy Jones actually got lead credits for this song. He produced it (it was originally recorded by Mica Paris), but did no vocals for it. In 1995 when it was released, basically no one knew who she was. I think this definitely would have done better if Tamia got lead credits and it was released from her debut album instead, but oh well, can't erase the past.

The first time I heard this, I thought she was going to be big. Her vocal performance is on point. Should have been a smash.
