One of my favorite Sade singles, and one of their more overlooked tracks IMO. Classic torch song, and one of the few tracks where Sade busts loose vocally. Didn't peak high on any chart (#55 R&B), but I don't believe it was ever promoted fully as a single. From what I understand, it was simply a track that radio had latched onto, so they quickie released a video and single with no real promotion. The live rendition is stunning as well.

Yess! When I think of Sade, this is the song I think of -- even though it was not one of her big hits. It is perfect from beginning to end. Their later music never had the strong instrumentals of the first two albums.
The backing track is every bit as great as Sade's lead vocals.

INCREDIBLE SONG! Definitely one of her best vocal performances.

Here's the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmivxH7TkocHer videos in general have all aged pretty well. Other than obvious things like fashion trends and whatnot, Sade never got into all the special effects in the 80's (and yet her videos were still highly visually appealing) so most of her videos haven't dated too badly.

Definitely one of her most overlooked singles. I think any artist with a history of music has atleast one overlooked song in their catalog. "Your Love is King" is another overlooked gem by Sade.
