The Roots had their biggest hit with this one in early 1997. It went to #34 on the Hot 100. It's my favorite single by them and one of my favorite rap singles of the 90's. They very rarely disappoint (although I thought their two albums this decade were subpar for them), but I do wish they could put out a song as good and as radio friendly as this one and get themselves back on the charts.

I love this but I think they have other singles as good. The Roots are so underrated because unlike other Hip-Hop acts they actually play real live instruments, they are original and musically diverse. I have been a fan since the debut and you have to check out their albums because they are really amazing and Black Thought is forever being taken for granted as an MC. Zero recognition, he's one of the best ever and lyrically intelligent like Nas.

Yes this song is nice.... I remember hearing this when I was younger.... It didn't do anything for me then but now I like it.
