N'Dea Davenport lent her vocals to this great track from 1994 by Brand New Heavies. It became their biggest hit, peaking at #51 on the Hot 100, #19 R&B, and #4 club play. They were tragically underrated. This song has a great classic soul vibe mixed with the early 90's hip-hop/dance vibe. This, "Never Stop," and "Sometimes" are all AMAZING and should have been way bigger hits for them. N'Dea Davenport released a great solo album in 1998 too, but that went nowhere.

I still play N'Dea Davenport's solo album from time to time. It's very good. "Whatever You Want" was my jam and te Mos Def remix to "Bullsh*ttin'" (not on the CD) stays on my iPod.
This song was one of their best, but they had a bunch of incredible songs. I never really liked anything from the Siedah Garrett era, though.

The entire Brother Sister album was top-notch IMO. This was my third favorite single behind "Brother, Sister" and "Spend Some Time."
