"Clouds" was definitely one of her more commercial ventures as opposed to some of her more artistic (and better) music with Rufus. It was the first single from her sophomore album, Naughty. "Clouds" made it to #10 on Billboard's Black Singles Chart in 1980. The song was written by legendary songwriting duo Ashford & Simpson. I really prefer Rufus over Chaka's solo career but this is definitely one of my favorite solo uptempos by Chaka.

I liked the remix of this in the late 80's as well. Don't quote me, but I believe it was done by Clivilles & Cole.

I like this one. She has so much great singles, "What cha gonna do for me", "I know you, i live you", "through the wire" or "Ain't nobody" are awesome.

Definitely one of her best solo tracks, I love it.

No. "Clouds in my coffee" is part of "You're So Vain".
