I don't know that this song was ever released in the US, but IMO it was one of the strongest songs off of Born To Do It and was a #8 hit in the UK. Really great mellow record with laid-back vocals from Craig David. The video was kind of cool as well.
I was very surprised that his first CD didn't do all that well in the U.S. Many of the tunes seemed well-suited for U.S. R&B Radio.
I think it's funny, though, that with Slicker Than Your Average, the British public accused him of selling out to reach an American audience. The ironic part is that nothing that he's released since Born To Do It has really been appropriate for U.S. Radio IMO.

"Fill Me In" was one of the best hits of the fall of 2001 here. I remember it was like a year and a half after it came out in the UK though. Really though, the UK had plenty of 2-step but it was pretty new for the US. "7 Days" was a quality track too even though it was more generic urban pop. Then Atlantic were morons and tried to sell a real pop ballad. "Walking Away" always sounded like a bad rewrite of U2's "One" to me. I don't know if this would have been a better choice, but I did at the time. I'm listening back to his album right now for the first time in awhile and I really have to say the first two singles stand out head and shoulders above the rest of the album. My biggest problem with this particular track is that while the instrumental is appealing, his vocal performance is very, very dull. His voice always annoyed me and I thought on his two hits here it wasn't as annoying, especially on "7 Days".
