I think it's my favourite song by her, i'm never disappointed by her ballads, even her latest ones. I like the video too, she looked so mature lol

My favorite part is when she is like
"I just wanna go beeh-hhhhaaaaa-aack bebeeeeeh."
I love this song. Monica was like a grown woman then. Her voice was so solid and mature for her age.

I love this song. Monica was like a grown woman then. Her voice was so solid and mature for her age. Her voice has gotten worse. She made the two boring ballad singles on her debut amazing with her vocals.

Good song. Monica is a great singles artist, but her albums have always been lacking IMO.
And I'm just going to say it, vocally, she has always been overrated. Granted, she did sound better when she first came out, but ever since her second album, everything has been incredibly throat-y and nasal.

I like it but not as much as "Don't Take It Personal" and "Why I Love You So Much" when it comes to her debut album. I remember being a semi-fan of hers in the 90s but I haven't cared as much about her music this decade.

I haven't noticed that her voice is any worse, actually. At any rate, I like this one. One of her best.

it's not that her vocals got worse, it's that she sang a bit differently on the debut album and it was also a bit higher. it's just like faith evans' first album, the both sang with a rawer style, which frankly is because the production was a lot rawer. occasionally she's throaty but that girl has never hit a nasal note in her life anyway i love this song and the video was good and yes she has always been more of a singles artist that's why for example Everytime the Beat Drop did better than any of the last singles from her contemporaries (except Faith evans) but she still sold fewer albums

This is great. you'd never know it was a 14 year old singing this song (takes notes, Justin Bieber). It sounds mature even 15 years later.
I like "Why I Love You So Much" even more though.
