One of their best singles IMO, incredibly smooth. Vocally, they were all on point like they usually were. I have no idea why this wasn't a smash. #51 on the Hot 100 and only #15 on the R&B chart.

I loved this single, they have so much great songs. Even in their last album there were a few gems.

Decent song from En Vogue, it wasn't a standout single for me.

I remember this wasn't a smash because they totally f'ed up the release of this. It reached #51 almost solely on airplay at a time when single sales were important. From what I remember the whole marketing of the project was a disaster. I think this and "Whatta Man" came out on some sort of weird EP or something that was really only 2 songs remixed like 3 times - more of a CD Single really. An physical single for this ended up getting released WAY late , and so it peaked really low. Would've been Top 10 easily if they had just done something less ridiculous.

Yes this was released as a EP. It had 2 versions of "Runaway Love" on it, "Whatta Man," and they remixed 3 songs from the "Funy Divas" album. This was something they randomly threw out there after "Funky Divas" was finished. Whats sad to me is this kind of left over or throw away track tops EVERYTHING the name "EnVogue" has done since EV3. I really miss them.
