From 1997... this song is easily forgotten because it's kind of very specific to the movie it was form, which is Batman, from summer 1997.
Anyway, this is one of R. Kelly's better Pop songs in my opinion. It's corny because the lyrics are so Batman oriented, but the insrumental is really in tact. And nice choir use at the end.
It also had a hot urban remix! This one is more laid back.
I like both.

I was never really big on this song. The lyrics were just... ugh! I'll vote for the original though. Like you said, the instrumental is alright.

One of his few 90's singles that I don't like. Compared to what he's been putting out the past few years though, this is a masterpiece.

I like the two versions. But i prefer the remix, it reminds me of a lot of memories. The remix is a good song to listen at night.
I like nearly every songs he did during the 90s. Even though since the Chocolate Factory album he produces a lot crap, he is definately one of the greatest r&b male artist. And he still produces some great songs for other artists.

None of the above. I couldn't stand it.

This is one of those 90's songs that basically already fell through the cracks and despite being a big hit, now it's like it didn't even exist. Songs like that nurture nostalgia even better though, because when you DO hear them, it's like you literally haven't heard it since it was a hit.

Well why would a song with a title that blatantly references a fictional location from Batman stick around? It kind of screwed itself from the jump.
