This was the follow-up to "Mercedes Boy" but oddly enough it didn't hit the pop chart even though it was coming off of two Top 10 hits. It was a big R&B hit though. It went all the way to #3. It's always seemed odd to me that this didn't cross over because even though it doesn't have that instantly memorable sound that it's two predecessors did, it was still very in line with what Pebbles was known for. Very underrated single. "Backyard" faced a similar fate. It went all the way to #4 R&B and didn't cross over to pop even though it was pretty typical Pebbles.

Yeah, I like this one. I pretty much like all of her hits.
