This was her lead single from My Everything after her ten-year hiatus. The song came out of nowhere. I remember seeing it on the Taking Off list at Urban AC and having no idea that she had a new single out. There was a station that was located in Chicago and I spent hours listening to the station just to hear this song. As soon as I heard the opening drums, I knew it had to be the new Anita song. I wasn't disappointed at all. I was actually shocked she put out something so good at that point in her career and that she did it without major backing. I mean she's on basically the biggest jazz label out there, but still. This song shot to the top of the Urban AC chart like nothing I've ever seen in my life. It even got some decent mainstream urban support, which was just insane. I was disappointed that AC radio basically ignored this though. She was a staple there and they play plenty of artists who don't have half the success Anita had with this album. They really have been ignoring most black artists in recent years though which is really annoying.
I loved the album too even though it's not one of her better albums. She's already hard at work on the follow-up to this. I hope she doesn't disappoint. Sometimes there are just older artists who need that long break to be able to come up with decent material and if they start rolling albums off the production line, they come out with garbage.

I love this song, one of my favourites from 2004, the melody is really sweet. I played this one a lot with "For Real" from Amel Larrieux. I didn't really care for her album, i have only kept 3-4 tracks such as the song with Babyface.

This song is really good. I think it's one of her best singles.
