Easily he could have released another 3 singles from this album. This song is so hot. This or "Bad Girl" should've been released instead of "Caught Up".

I know people are so burned out on him, but I'm hard pressed to find any other urban male who can put out a run of singles as consistently commercial as well as thoroughly enjoyable as Usher. I could have definitely gone for 3 more singles. New York treated this as a single. It was #1 on both Power 105 and Hot 97 at one point. It's definitely one of my favorites on the album. Classic Just Blaze production.
I totally agree about "Caught Up" too. I was so annoyed with it being a single. It's one of my least favorites on Confessions.

This song was okay but i don't like it. I thought this album was really bad. 2004 was such a disappointement for r&b albums IMO, i've only loved Urban Mystic Lp and a few other ones but that's it.

I'm in the other way, I think this is best contemporary R&B album of this decade so far. It's even better than Mariah's and Mary's latest albums.

lol. This album is great, the only song I that I don't like is the remix of "Confessions".

Usher is probably the best contemporary male R&B artist this decade. He is very consistent, entertaining, etc. Yeah he's overexposed but he's the only male R&B artist puttin out hot tracks. Confessions was really good and people played the album & singles out. You really didn't even have to buy the album because you heard it in peoples cars, homes, CD players, etc. Even the thugs was bumpin' Usher. "My Way" is another HOT album.

Na ya 'll is easily overrating usher..... this is one of his best songs, and the album was one of his best albums but yet i don't think it was all that better then mary's or mariah's latest. I hated Confessions, and confessions 2 and 3 and so on, i couldn't stand burn or yeah, and i didn't like "supastar" and the poor duet " my boo". But "throwback" was great, the remix with jadakiss was iight, but i loved the way usher sang over the track, it was major improvement on his behalf.

This DEFINATELY should have been a single. I was just listening to wondering why it wasn't.

I like this one, and I agree with all the previous sentiments, it could have easily been a single.

Like Josh said, this was a "single" in the NYC area. I like this song, but much like "Caught Up" I feel like it's missing something and there are other songs left on the album that I prefer. "Bad Girl" is the song that I most wanted as a single. Also "Simple Things" "Red Light' and "That's What It's Made For."
I agree, this album is better than both Mariah's and Mary's. The only contemporary R&B album from this decade that I hold on a par with it is Brandy's Afrodisiac, which is always overlooked because it flopped, but I consider it kind of like Confessions' female counterpart because they came out around the same time and they're both incredibly solid.

Usher's album was good overall, but Mary's and Mariah's were better. I hated "Yeah" and "My Boo" and there was a few filler tracks that I don't really care for. I liked this a lot though.

I would rank the albums like this:
1) Mariah 2) Usher 3) Mary
I like all of them pretty much the same though.
