This was a certified JAM! I remember hearing it on the local urban station before it was released, and I fell in love with it. There's something hauntingly catchy about the verses. I think Missy was the one who wrote it (if only she could come up with catchy verses like that today). Timbaland again provided another A+ production with the HOT beats. I just love everything about this song!

Seriously I think I like, I mean LIKE all of her singles:
- Back and Forth - At Your Best - If You Girl Only Knew - Hot Like Fire - One In A Million - 4 Page Letter - The One I Gave My Heart To - Ary You That Somebody? - Try Again - Come Back In One Piece - We Need a Resolution - More Than A Woman - Rock The Boat - I Care 4 U
LOL! I love them all! Probably my least favorite would be the song with DMX.

I consider "Come Back In One Piece" DMX's song. My least favorite Aaliyah single would probably be "The One I Gave My Heart To" but I still like it.

"Age Ain't Nothing But A Number," "I Don't Wanna," "Come Over," and "Miss You" are missing from your list.
Those last two are probably my least favorite. Changing Face's version of "Come Over" is better, and "Miss You" is bland-o-rama.

I remember when i seen the video it kind of threw me off. I didn't really like it because it was supposed to be futuristic but the storyline was so far fetched. The dance sequence when she was in front of the man trapped in the cage was cool. The choreography was sick and she moved so fluid to the beat, Aaliyah was on her game at the time.

"4 Page Letter" is one of my favorites. There's something about the whole mood of it that I love. I really like the beat too.
My least favorite Aaliyah singles would be "Come Over" and "I Don't Wanna" because they're bland to me. I LOVE all of her others though. She really was an amazing singles artist.

Aaliyah's falsetto-ish adlibs in this songs (and in other songs) eerily (sort of) remind me of Mariah. I wonder if one of them inspired the other.

I don't hear the Mariah connection. at all.
but anyway, I love this song, this was a jam back in middle school.
